Doi Mon Ngo Community

Doi Mon Ngo is located in Muang Kai Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, Chiang Mai Province, at 1,425 meters above sea level. It is a natural tourist attraction with panoramic views of overlapping mountain ranges. Visitors can enjoy the refreshing cool air, stunning sunrises and a sea of mist gently rolling through the valleys.

The scenery;

Doi Inthanon in the west that lies on Doi Pha Hom Pok northern mountain.

Doi Luang Chiang Dao in the east.

Doi Mon Ngo serves lush and rich in natural vegetation with a thick forests and a vibrant ecosystem. The sea of mist is most visible during the rainy and winter seasons.

The mountain is also known for a beautiful seasonal flowers:

Mexican Sunflowers (Dok Bua Tong) bloom in November.

Wild Himalayan Cherry (Prunus cerasoides) or Sakura of Thailand bloom in January.

White Orchid Tree Flowers (Dok Siew) bloom in February.
