Affiliation: A monastery under the Mahanikaya sect; officially recognized as a temple in 1933 (B.E. 2476)

Role in the Community
The temple serves as a central hub for religious activities, such as traveling Dhamma missionary programs and Buddhist Lent events that collaboration with the Sangha of Mae Taeng District.
It also hosts local traditional ceremonies such as merit-making and funerals. Located in Mueang Kai Subdistrict, Mae Taeng District, surrounded by agricultural areas and local communities.
Accessible by private car or local songthaew (shared pickup truck taxis) from Chiang Mai via Mae Taeng heading toward Ban Lao Village.
